Monastery Praskvica is a monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church. It is dedicated to Saint Nicholas. He represented the spiritual and political center of Paštrović. The name was obtained by the nearby stream, which had the taste of scratch-peach.
In 1307 the monastery appeared in written sources (when King Milutin came on his way to Kotor). King Milutin confirmed the property already given by Queen Jelena Anžujska to the monastery on that occasion. With his master Paštrovići, Zeta Balša III Balsic built here a church of St. Nicholas, in 1413, giving her part of her possessions.
The Monastery of Reževići is a monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church from the 13th century and belongs to the Montenegrin-Littoral Metropolitanate.
The monastery temple was built by Stefan the First Priest and was dedicated to the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos. The second temple was built by the Emperor Dusan and dedicated to St. Stephen. In the middle of the 16th century, both houses were robbed and destroyed.
In 1714, the monastery came to the monastery Maksim Kosijerevac, from the Kosijer monastery, who restored both churches and founded a monastery. His work was continued by Nikodim Vukovic, who in 1770 erected a larger church dedicated to the Holy Trinity, which was completely completed by Jerome Dimitri Perazic in 1814.
It was erected in the 14th century during the era of Stefan Uros IV Dusan, at an altitude of about 450 meters, on a plateau above the Praskvica monastery. The monastery was the target of the monastery of Decan, and the masons, after mingling, often went from there to Dečani. Unlike the other monasteries in Paštrovići in Duljevo, there is only one church - a temple dedicated to the holy archdeacon Stefan. In the past, the monastery suffered several times, but Paštrovići managed to restore it. A special value is a painting in the older part of the temple, and a great wealth of frescoes was discovered after the earthquake of 1979, when a part of the temple was demolished. There was also a monastery school in Dulevo.
The Gradiste Monastery belongs to the Mitropolia of the Montenegrin-Littoral Serbian Orthodox Church. It is located in Buljarica, three kilometers from Petrovac, on a small hill above the main road leading to Bar. After the folk tradition, the monastery Gradiste was erected in the 11th century on the remains of an ancient antique building. The first mention of the monastery was in the 14th century, in the Order of King Milutin from 1305, which confirms that his mother, Queen Jelena, donated her to the monastery of the Virgin of Ratac. In the second command, written in Kotor in 1310, it is written that King Milutin encloses the monastery estate.
Since its inception, the monastery has been attacked and burnt repeatedly, and the cruelest retribution was experienced in 1785 by the Turks, led by Mahmud Pasha Bushatli. Because of this, he was threatened with a strong wall with high towers and loopholes, so that he could defend himself from Turkish uprisings. The wall and the tower have been demolished, but their foundations have been preserved to this day.
In the Second World War it was looted and burned by the Italians. During the earthquake that hit Montenegro in April 1979, the roofs and walls of the monastery churches were demolished.
